This independent 4-wire system allows for true plug-and-play installation, making it both cost-effective and reliable. The Guardian® Wave retains the trusted features of the Guardian® with the inclusion of an active infrared sensor that operates independently from the physical button itself. The autonomous sesnor coupled with its injection-molded housing renders the Guardian® Wave reliable in all weather conditions and impervious vandalism. It’s designed with the user in mind to ensure maximum levels of safety, simplicity, and accessibility at any intersection, making it an ideal choice for all intersections.

About the Product:

The Guardian® Wave showcases an impressive array of features and specifications. It includes extended press options, vibrotactile walk cues, and optional clearance phase indicators. All settings can be managed at the pedestrian station via USB or optional Bluetooth® connectivity using our PedConnex® utility or mobile app. The system offers Quiet Signal Technology (QST) for precise sound directionality and various clearance mode options. Its low power consumption makes it suitable for solar mid-block crossings and Rectangular Rapid Flashing Beacons (RRFBs). The Guardian® Wave is fully compliant with the 2023 MUTCD, 2023 PROWAG, ADA, and TAC standards. Its mounting location can be customized with our Universal Extension Brackets and 90-Degree Adapters ensuring conformity with accessibility guidelines. The system is compatible with touch-safe 48VDC or 120VAC cabinets and comes pre-programmed for easy out-of-the-box installation. Users can save and download configuration profiles for quick setup or recovery in knockdown situations, enhancing its versatility and ease of use.
